Interested in Learning More
About the Catholic Church?

Take a look at the RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults). The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) is a process by which the Catholic Church welcomes new members into its communal life. RCIA is a living experience of the Church, and not just a series of classes that teach knowledge about the Church. Although there is instruction in the facts of the faith,  instruction is but one part of a larger experience of knowing and sharing with other members of the Church. There is also an RCIA process for teens and children. If you are interested in learning more, please contact Fr. Kurt, the the Parish Office or call Doreen at 630-257-2414. Watch the bulletins for further details.
What is SPRED?

SPRED is a unique program of religious education/faith development for children, teenagers, young adults, and adults with mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and those with learning problems. It is not a typical religious education program but one of growing in faith within a small group. It is an opportunity for people to come together to grow in friendships and see their lives as meaningful by becoming more aware of God's presence. Parents are most welcomed no matter the age or abilities of their child. We are also looking for interested men and women who would like to volunteer. Please see the bulletin or call the Parish Office for more information. Volunteers need no experience with special needs people just a willingness to become someone's friend and to grow in faith together. Training is provided.
